Page Vault pricing, as published
Page Vault publishes starting prices for its On Demand service and does not display prices for its Browser software. Below is every figure it does publish, dated and linked, plus the parts that need a sales call.
The honest verdict, one sentence
Use Page Vault when you need a collection done for you and an affidavit signed by someone at the vendor who can be deposed. Use ProofSnap when you want to capture it yourself in a couple of minutes and hand over a package the other side can verify without asking anyone.
If your matter turns on a third-party declarant, stop reading here and call Page Vault. That is a real service and this page is not going to talk you out of it.

A third-party listing, the LawNext Directory, cites a figure of $195 per month for a single concurrent user of the Browser software. Page Vault does not display that figure on its own pricing page, so treat it as a third-party report rather than a vendor quote.
The detail that moves a budget: how usage is counted
Page Vault states that usage is calculated on the number of pages in the final generated PDF. A file capture counts as one page per file. A video counts as ten pages.
This is worth understanding before you sign, because page count is not intuitive. A single long social thread or an image-heavy profile can render into dozens of PDF pages, and a handful of short videos can consume more allowance than a day of web captures. It is not a hidden fee, it is published, but it is the number that decides whether a plan fits your caseload.
List price against list price
The only fair comparison is published figure against published figure. Page Vault's On Demand starting prices are per collection; ProofSnap's are per month with captures included. Both are list prices before any negotiation.

Read that carefully rather than as a scoreboard. A single Page Vault On Demand website collection at its $199 starting price is roughly eight months of unlimited ProofSnap Enterprise. That comparison is only meaningful if you were going to do the capture yourself anyway. If you needed the collection performed and sworn to by the vendor, ProofSnap is not offering the same thing at a lower price, it is offering a different thing.

Three things you can do right now without giving anyone your address. None of them opens a form.
1. Hash a file in your browser
Pick any file. The SHA-256 is computed locally with the Web Crypto API and nothing is uploaded. This is the same hash function that seals every file in a ProofSnap package.

What this proves and what it does not. A hash proves integrity: change one byte and the value changes. It says nothing about when the file existed. The date is the other half of the problem, and that is what a timestamp adds. It is the reason evidence tools cost money and a hash calculator does not.

Questions people actually ask
How much does Page Vault cost?
On Demand collections start at $199 for websites and documents, $299 for videos and $349 for social media profiles, and every collection is custom quoted with free quotes. The Browser software comes in four packages on annual contracts with prices not displayed on the pricing page. A third-party directory reports $195 per month for a single concurrent user. All figures checked 16 August 2026.
Why does the price depend on the collection?
Because the unit is pages in the output PDF, not URLs. Page Vault publishes that a file counts as one page and a video counts as ten. A profile with hundreds of posts is a much larger job than a static page, so a flat per-URL price would either overcharge simple work or undercharge complex work.
Do I need an affidavit from a vendor?
Sometimes, and it is worth knowing when. In United States federal court, FRE 902(13) and 902(14) allow a record produced by an accurate electronic process, or a copy authenticated by a hash value, to be self-authenticating on a certification by a qualified person. Under 28 U.S.C. 1746 that certification can be an unsworn declaration. Whether the declarant should be you, your investigator or a vendor is a strategy question for your counsel, not a software question. Where you want the vendor to be the declarant, Page Vault sells exactly that.
What does ProofSnap cost?
$8.99 a month for 100 captures, $16.99 for 200 with Bitcoin anchoring and C2PA, $28.99 for unlimited captures with an eIDAS qualified timestamp. Annual plans save about 20 percent. Without a subscription, a SnapPack starts at $4.99 for 5 captures as a one-time purchase with no auto-renewal, and creating an account with a card at checkout is required.
This page is written by a competitor. Why trust the numbers?
You should not trust them, you should check them. Every figure links to the page it came from and carries the date it was read. If Page Vault changes a price and this page is stale, tell us at support@getproofsnap.com and it gets corrected. The comparison also lists four capabilities where Page Vault is straightforwardly better, which is the part an advertisement would leave out.
