How do I preserve a LinkedIn profile and its posts as evidence?

Why a screenshot of the profile is not enough
The profile page is only the surface of the account. The statements that decide a case are usually in the posts, and the opposing party controls every one of them.
Edits leave no history
LinkedIn marks an edited post as Edited, but it does not show what the post said before. A job title can be changed and a post can be deleted without a public trace. Only a copy made before the change shows the original.
The profile shows a preview, not the posts
The Activity section on a profile shows only a few recent items. Each post lives at its own link, with its own date, reactions and comments, and has to be captured as its own page.

A screenshot carries no provable date and no provable source, and anyone can edit a page in the browser before taking the screenshot. That is the first question opposing counsel will ask.
Thirty screenshots are thirty exhibits
Posts captured one by one on different days do not show that they came from the same profile at the same point in time. One recorded session under one seal does.
What a signed-out visitor can actually see
On every order we check the profile before we start. A real profile ProofSnap reviewed in September 2026 had 85 items in its activity feed, yet a signed-out visitor saw none of them and got the sign-in page instead.

To a signed-out visitor, the profile was hidden behind LinkedIn's sign-in page, yet each individual post still opened publicly at its own link. The only place that lists all of them is the activity feed, and LinkedIn shows it to signed-in members only. That is why we capture from a signed-in session. The signed-in session is visible in the recording and in the saved pages, so nobody can later claim it was concealed. Because the full feed is visible to us, we count the posts before we start and tell you if the profile needs a higher tier.

One video of the whole session
The recording runs from the first tab to the last, so it shows one continuous session moving from the profile through every post, not a set of separate clips. The video file is hashed into the same manifest as everything else. When the session is long, the sealed evidence copy of the video is a WebM file inside the package, and an MP4 copy for easy playback is delivered alongside the package, outside the seal.

A folder for every post
Each post is captured at its own link, with a full-page screenshot, the HTML source, the extracted text, the page metadata, its own chain of custody and its own evidence PDF. The post appears with whatever reactions and comments the page shows at capture time.

One seal over everything
A SHA-256 hash of every file in one manifest, an RSA-4096 signature, an eIDAS qualified timestamp and a Bitcoin anchor via OpenTimestamps. Change a single byte in any post and verification fails.

A chain of custody for the session
A tamper-evident log of every operation in order: the verified time source, the DNS resolution and HTTP response headers of each page, device and extension integrity, and every layout change made to fit a page into one image.

Capture it again later?
An active profile keeps changing. A repeat capture uses the same tiers, priced by the number of posts captured, so posts added since the last package cost the same as in any other order.
